Merry Christmas y'all. I hope you all had a fantastic day and have recovered from the food shock...lol

I have a little confession to make. I wasn't in a very christmasy mood this Christmas. For some reason I was just on the down low. I kept wondering what the problem was and I prayed and asked God to deliver me from any spirit of heaviness.

It then occurred to me that sometimes we allow the devil through heaviness take over the reason for us being happy. I mean that day alone was the only day that had been set aside specially for me to appreciate the birth of my Master and friend so seriously what was my problem?

My problem was that I was not being: Thankful

Psalm 100:4 urges us to Enter God's gates with Thanksgiving....
In other words, being thankful pleases the Master

For a second take time and look back on 2010 and pick out scenarios and instances when you know fully well that it was only God who delivered you from the mess, the lack, the fear, the shame, the muddle...

Its all coming back isn't it?

Yes if there is anything I, Patience Virtue, is grateful for is that my God has kept me hail and hearty till now and its not by any good deed on my part but by His GRACE

My darlings, take time today and be thankful. Do not let flimsy things, situations set backs take away your ultimate assignment as a believer. Lay aside every weight and just say:

LORD I AM GRATEFUL

Being thankful is our code to unlocking the gates of heaven and releasing our blessings.

As we round up this beautiful 2010: please be ThAnkFul

True Worship

Hello Darlings

Of a truth our God reigns and is still in the business of doing miracles.

Sometimes I sit down and wonder where I would be if not for the grace, mercy and favour of our God. Our God is great.

God has a way of showing up when you are getting to that point where you feel you are letting go of everything: sanity, emotions, feelings, life's worth. He steps in and shows Himself strong and mighty.

God is never too early and never too late He is the ON TIME God.

I just want to use this opportunity and invite you as well to sit down and ponder on the things God has done for you in the past up till this very moment...

Yes...that breakthrough; Thank Him for it
Yes...that promotion; Thank Him for it
Yes...that healing; Thank Him for it
Yes...that divine acceleration; Thank Him for it
Yes...that provision/increase; Thank Him for it
Yes...that deliverance; Thank Him for it

I could go on and on and I wouldn't stop.

I just want you to use this opportunity to say thank you to God and give Him true worship for who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and what He is yet to do.

Walk With Me

Hello Darlings,

Of late, I have been jolted out of my sleep at very early times in the morning. One day it was at 2:38am, the next it was 5:15am and last night it was 3:05am.

Now this is a bit disturbing as it is usually not that easy for me to get back to sleep once I'm up. When I'm up I go on twitter and tweet with my 'twitfam' if any is awake. However in a corner of my mind I'm wondering whether I was jolted up for a reason.

On the first two occasions, prophetic songs came to me which I continuously sang till I drifted off to blissful sleep. But yesterday was different. Yesterday I heard the still voice of My Master and My Best-friend. He said to me: Walk with me.

At first I was a bit mesmerized. I was shocked as I know I had been naughty for a while.I had started losing focus on who I truly was and what I stood for. The first thing that popped into my mind after that was when God called Abraham: He told him to: Walk with Him and DO WHAT WAS RIGHT....

That really is what God wants from us. He is not asking for too much. Just for us to walk with Him. A number of times we have the tendency to stray away from the path on which we and God are walking on. This is because pressures of life may throw you to places you never expected to be in and it seems as if you are trying to set a balance between what you want now and what you know God will eventually give you if you trust in Him.

This realisation hit me so bad I had to run back to God for forgiveness. I want to walk with Him no matter the situation. No matter the pressure; no matter the pain. Even when the problems and issues get so hard to bear I still want to Walk with God. The hymn says: 'When we Walk with the Lord in the light of His word; what a glory He sheds on our way'

Yes there is a glory and I want to have a piece of that glory to.Remember the three Hebrew guys: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego...They made up their minds to walk with God and held onto Him even in the face of impending death. God delivered them from the fiery furnance and Nebuchadnezzar said:

'Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego! He sent His angel and rescued His servants who trusted Him.' Daniel 3:28.

I have made up my mind to walk with God and trust Him irrespective of any situation I find myself in. I have decided to hold on to Him and be a partaker of the glory of walking with Him. Do the same today.
